20 life mantras to kick-start your day

Most of the time, it is very unrealistic that you’ll wake up really ready to face the day, especially when you feel stressed and it feels that it can only get more stressful from here. But your first thoughts of the day will tend to be based upon your mood and your outlook of the day ahead.

Waking up with negative thoughts is not good for your mental well-being, though sometimes (most of the time) it is hard to kick the positivity in, let alone feel motivated when bed is calling your name in the morning.

But the start of the day is the best time to kick-start the motivation and positivity, setting the tone for the rest of the day. And, really, what better time than a brand new day to get some good mindsets set in?!

So, for that boost of positivity, the best life-mantras for your new day:

  1. No masterpiece was ever created by a lazy artist.

  2. Don’t just wish for it, work for it.

  3. If it doesn’t work, change the plan, but don’t change the goal.

  4. Do one thing everyday that scares you.

  5. It’s impossible to accomplish something that you immediately assume you can’t do.

  6. Never allow others to influence your self-worth, self-confidence or self-esteem.

  7. Consider that failure may be a blessing in disguise.

  8. You are as important to your health as your health is to you.

  9. If you can change your thoughts, you can change anything.

  10. You do not need anyone’s approval but your own.

  11. If you are happy, you are motivated.

  12. You are the one with the control over yourself and your choices.

  13. Others cannot do for you, what you will not do for yourself.

  14. Lessons and wisdom is all around you if you are only willing to listen.

  15. You will not take for granted the people you love in your life

  16. You must open yourself up to happiness and opportunity.

  17. It is enough to do your best.

  18. Be stronger than your excuses.

  19. Focus on how you want to feel, not what you want to achieve.

  20. Everything you are searching for is already inside of you.
